The Chemtronics ozone generators are easy to use and complete ideal for water & waste water applications. When water flows through the Venturi at required pressure, Air is sucked in from the silica gel dryer into the electrodes when a high voltage corona converts part of oxygen into ozone which is then introduced into the water as small bubbles. This new line of ozone generators is fully assembled and tested in factory.

Ozone Generation:
• Ozone is produced when dry (moisture free) oxygen gas stream is subjected to high voltage/high density electrical current within a given area bounded by the electrodes generating the electrical field.

Ozone Injection
Venturi injectors - Ozone is injected under vacuum creating fine bubbles and mixing efficiency can be improved using static mixers.

• Special Di-Electric with coating and air cooling ensure long life to electrode.
 

 Equipment Specifications:
1. Ozone generator will produce minimum of 6 – 8 % wt / wt of oxygen.
2. Feed gas to ozonator will be medical grade oxygen. Air as feed gas is not permissible & not been used.
3. Capacity of ozone generator & ozone production will be specified in gm/hr.
4. Ozone generator sized will be as to dose 1.0 to 1.5 ppm of ozone.
5. Ozone generator will generate medical grade ozone, free from any impurities & by products.
6. Each ozone generator operates automatically using sensors & interlocked by ozone sensors.
7. Residual ozone going into occupied room will not be more than 0.04 ppm.
8. Ozone gas is injected by ventury.
9. Ozone generator injects ozone gas in main stream or side stream.
10. Ozonator or any of its part will not hamper the flow of water, by creating obstruction in water.
11. Ozone generation & variation of ozone output will be at variable frequency. Modulation of ozone at constant frequency is not permissible.
12. Ozone generator cell will be fabricated of high purity aluminium.
13. Cylinder will be Teflon coated for long life.
14. Gasket is made from ozone compatible material.
15. Dielectric tubes fabricated of ceramic or high purity quartz to provide high voltage & high efficiency dielectric.
16. All pipes and accessories in contact with ozone will be ozone compatible.
17. Ozone power density will not exceed 0.30 watts per sq. cm.of effective dielectric surface area.
18. Power supply unit transformers will be dry type, class F insulated with high temperature cut-out for each phase, suitable for operation in 104 degree F (40 degree C) ambient with temperature rise not higher than 122 degree F( 50 degree C).
19. The PSU will consist of the following components as a minimum, all factory wired, assembled and tested
• Single phase harmonic filter to minimize total harmonic distortion.
• Three phase isolating transformer.
• Three phase fully controlled rectifier with snubbers and MOV’s (Metal Oxide Varistors) on each side.
• DC filter bank.
• IGBT inverter assembly complete with snubbers.
• Medium frequency oscillating circuit with over current and over voltage protection.
• Medium – frequency dry type transformer.
20. If operation is on medium frequency, each power supply unit will have frequency electronic protection consisting rectifiers or invertors over current protection, over voltage protection at the IGBT modules. and high voltage short circuit protection.
21. The ozone generator is provided with emergency stop button.

12. Ozone generation & variation of ozone output shall be at variable frequency. Modulation of ozone at constant frequency is not permissible.
13. Ozone generator equipment shall be housed outside the AHU duct. The ozone generator shall be floor/skid mounted with integrally piped & wired.
14. Ozone generator cell shall be fabricated of High purity aluminium.
• Cylinder : Will be Teflon coated for long life
• Gasket : Will be made from ozone compatible material.
• Dielectric: Tubes shall be fabricated of ceramic or high purity quartz to provide high voltage & high efficiency dielectric.
15. All pipes & accessories in contact with ozone shall be ozone compatible.
16. All electrical components shall confirm to CSA, NEC and UL ratings. The generator shall be suitable for operation on 380V- 410V Hz.
17. Ozone power density shall not exceed 0.30 watts per sq. cm of effective dielectric surface area.
18. Power supply unit transformers shall be dry type, class F insulated with high temperature cut-out for each phase, suitable for operation in 104degree F (40 degree C) ambient, with temperature rise not higher than 122 degree F (50degree C).
