Private Swimming Pool :

Public Swimming Pool :

Pool Filters:

Sand filters / Pressure Sand Filters

Traditionally Pressure Sand filters are used for filtering swimming pool water for trapping suspended & coagulated impurities. Pressure sand filters use multi grade silica sand as a filter media. Normal life of these media is 5 to 7 years.
For private swimming pools , the re-circulation water filtration velocity is around 35 – 40 m/hr. For all other swimming pool, especially public swimming pool filtration velocity is 30 – 35 m/hr.
Advantage of these type of filter is, they can be repeatedly used after backwash. When pressure difference increases by 7 psi (0.5 Kg./cm²) than initial service filter pressure, sand filter is back washed.

Sand Filters are available in different material of construction as per need. with automatic /semi-automatic & PLC based fully automatic operations like service, back-wash, rinse etc.

Swimming Pool Disinfection

Water disinfection is one of the key treatment steps for all types of swimming pools, either public or private. Efficient pool water disinfection is essential for public pools. Swimming pool water is contaminated by swimmers & environment pollutants. Swimming pool pollutants can be divided up into three groups: microorganisms, undissolved pollutants & dissolved pollutant.
For many years, chlorine or bromine based chemicals have been the standard disinfectants used in swimming pool water treatment. However, studies have proven that the use of these chemicals can have public health consequences due to the formation of reaction byproducts, mainly chlorinated organic compounds and chloramines.
Chloramines are responsible for eye, ear and throat irritation as well as the presence of strong “chlorine” odour. Certain viruses, amoebae and cysts are also not inactivated at the chemical levels normally used for pool water treatment.

Swimming pool water Ozonation is time tested proven technology. Worldwide swimming pool water is disinfected using Ozone. Ozone is generated on site, using corona discharge technique.
